House on the Central Coast = avg $450,000

Deposit - 20% = $90k

So if I save up $90k, I can put it all on a house, but I'd be left with nothing!

For the amount of shit they put up with, surely that would be the low end of the income scale. Tell her to register an ABN, give her boss the finger (Or 2 depending on what way she swings (film it if she swings the last way)) and start up her own buisness.

She's already got an ABN, just not enough resources to start up her own business - yet.

Probably will happen in the future sometime.

Morgan, why don't you use your parents mansion as guarantor to your loan. That way, you don't need to save $90k.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Ha both of our wages combined don't add up to $100k :P

It takes a long time to save up for anything!

It's ok though. We're not all about earning the most money. There are more important things out there ...

I'd rather not.

Bigger deposit = smaller mortgage

Plus it's currently costing us $50 a week to live in a 2 bedroom flat in a nice suburb with zero maintenance costs :)

You have good reasons to save then!

Owning a home is the best thing ever though :)

There seriously needs to be a size limit on signatures. I know you can turn em off. But they make the forum look like noobsville to the outside public!

Get an investment property at 5% interest.

Rent out for more then mortgage costs.

Profit?!

Dude, you dont understand the position you're in right now. You could be creating wealth something fierce!

Nvidia and ATi managed to get an extra 10% more performance out of their GPU's with Windows 7 compared to Vista and XP.
So if you play games, keep that in mind.

Microsoft have stopped all support for XP now.

No it's been extended to April 2014.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Lol, they are TRD 6pot fronts and 4 pot rears, with 355 and 345 discs respectively.

But yeah, $10k on brakes to stop a 2.0L N/A car? Pass.

What is the car, that you can have the option of having a built in whiskey cabinet, that the manafactuer will come to your house, and refill it every few months for $X dollars?

Wasn't that a special Ed RAngey?

Sig worthy.
