The guy in question has "Lockdown Syndrome" where his mind is 100% able to still do everything else he could, but he is paralyzed from the neck down. No form of treatment or cure.

On the flippedy side, I used to have a mate who had muscular dystrophy . He had no control over any of his body parts (including his lungs - he was on a respirator 24/7) and was in a leccy wheelchair, needed a round-the-clock carer etc...and he was no word of a lie, the happiest and funniest motherfucker I ever knew, no way would he have chosen to go...his body was just unusable but his mind was still sharp as a sharp sharpie.

Horses for courses.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Might have to sit her down, and ask her if she really wants to be here, if she isn't doing her job correctly.

Pet hate of mine is staff delegating jobs that are assigned to them, to other people. All the blokes here are great, but I have a couple of female staff that constantly try to get the boys to do their work. Even more annoying is when they stand and watch the work happening... the only time you can take it upon yourself to delegate your own job is when you can show that you're doing something more important and have shown some form of initiative by prioritising the tasks.

Yeah mate. They are paid to do a job that is assigned to them, and if one person is not doing their fair share of the work, then don't bother coming back, and ill find someone more willing to do the job and has better team work morals.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.
