HOLDENBACK. Good times for Holden when that came out, research into AWD with a V8 platform, 'new' Monaro was kicking. The Opel and Isuzu side of their range also winning. It all sorta went bad around the time the VE came out, Korean small car range and the VE while technically better than the Opel based Commodore, I personally wouldn't own one. Interior is shit and its a whale lol. Economy didn't help.

I like the VEs. Drove an 09 Calais V wagon SIDI about an hour ago and it was very smooth.

I have only ever driven an Omega in the VE range, I assume the better models would be nicer to drive :P I personally have never driven a V8. If only it was affordable to run a nice V8. That noise... it just never gets old. I love those current Cadillacs in the US, wish we had more of the muscle cars here too.

700hp 7ish Litre Camaro looks cute against the 900hp 1.8L Golf.

Good times for the AWD Holden? Monaro? So why were both discontinued soon after their release? Why were people complaining about the AWD constantly?

I wouldn't call that good times.

I'm pretty sure the AWD system Holden used was widely regarded as a complete dog. The Coupe 4 looked sick with its flares over the arches and what not, but the two that I uses to detail regularly were riddled with problems.

Someone spoiler this shit! (No pun intended.) it's an insult to anyone with vision.

Sig worthy.

Yeah but at least they were doing something. Even if it wasn't the best they were trying, that to me is more than enough. They haven't got the balls/money to do that anymore which is dissappoint. I like the Monaro, having been for a ride in a GTO when they were new. Wouldn't own any of the AWD ones, because as you say, they were dogs :P

The Golf is spastic though lol. I wouldn't want to drive it as a daily or be seen in it. I respect the work that went into it but it can't be reliable, they even show it breaking CV's lol.

Ended up with this.

Goes alright for stock. Definitely needs some breathing mods, feels very restricted. And low.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah, I wanna get a GTR rear wing. They look mad. Or a Z-Tune style, but your right, it needs something. But anything was better then what was on there. Needs a few things fixed, one xenon light is out, one taillight, shocks are Posted Image'ed, and head deck is Japanese and doesn't work in Aus. Not bad though.

Nice one Shaz!! :D looks sweet.

Just serviced the Liberty put the fumoto thing on (it is going to be win), switched my tyres from front to back and re-greased the sway bar bushes to shut them up... then spent about 2 hours bleeding the cooling system again! this time I got the fucker, jacked the pass side front right up with a funnel shoved into the header tank (fit well without leaking) and ran it.... when the thermostat opened it took a nice hit from the reserve then continued to do so for a bit after :D.

Now waiting on my pork ribs to cook.

I greased up my RSB bushes before I went to the snow with some moly grease and they're still noisy as.

What about your front ones? they are the ones that are usually noisy. I just use rubber grease, it shuts them up nicely :D.

BTW where did you get snow chains from>
