Tristan diesel engines do not ignite using a spark plug. They ignite purely from the compression of the engine, so no. Not all the same principals of a petrol engine work with a diesel engine.

i already know that... but i'm pretty sure you can still jam more boost into a TD engine and make more power...

dont go the rodeo man, mates got one(turbo deisel), used it to tow the boat into town and it was a peice of shit for towing, brothers got a hilux, it isnt too bad, but still lacks abit of power but seemed to do better then the rodeo, cant kill the thing tho, lots was wrong with it but it jsut kept on going, also i have noticed when using landcrusiers that when towing, autos use a hell of alot more fuel, we had a manual and aunty had an auto, same trip towing the boat, ours $20 and hers just over $50, was riduculous

A diesel is still an engine so some things will apply to get more powahz, ive seen Land cruisers with a larger TMIC get slight improvements, more boost will give more power as well, tuning will also help.... the overall performance gained might not match that of a petrol but its still something.

Paul... Let me know what your max budget is. I have a mate that is selling a MINT, I mean really mint F150. He's totally restored it and was using it as a tow car for his race car. Only selling it as he needs something that will fit the rest of the family in it....

Put them in the back? :D

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.
