Thought I would post this, unless I am late to the party again. 9 years ago she was grounded. A major step back for the human race in my opinion. I just hope we get to travel this fast again within our lifetime.

My olds place is close to a flight path and somewhat close to the airport. I saw this sucker on approach when i was a wee little kiddy

Still so far ahead of its time even by todays standards. Yeah she guzzled fuel, only took a small passenger payload, but it was only the first model ffs. Imagine if we had the A380 generation of Concorde, something the size of a 747 that could travel at speeds over mach 2. But anyway, we live in sad times when it comes to innovation.

I think I remember seeing one at Sydney when I was a kid, but never saw one flying.

Also technically it wasnt the first, the Russians had one too but that one flopped even earlier on and was unreliable apparently. Americans one never got past a modelling stage lol.

Hope the ferry ride home wasn't too bad last night.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Just found this, Photo I took in Corregidor, is a piece of concrete that was blown into the tree when the Japs bombed the island, the tree has grown around it.. thought that was pretty coooo.
