So my watch got stolen when we were broken into. Just found out I've got about $600 to spend on a Tissot.

Sig worthy.

What style are you looking for, mate? I quite like this;

And this, but not sure if you're looking for an everyday watch or not;

I had looked at that second Tissot Nik. Could be an option, although I think I'd go the black one rather than the orange. The orange whilst very cool for everyday, wouldn't look the best in a dressed up situation. I want an all rounder.

Sig worthy.

Yeah, totally agree on that, an orange band poking out from a dress shirt is a bit 'on the nose'

Does it HAVE to be a Tissot for insurance?

I know some of you would never heard of Reactor Watches but check em out, here's a pic of mine I know it's rather large for a ladies watch but I love it, Rose gold and black ceramic weighs a tonn but its bang for buck , my husband reckon's it's better than his Seiko velatura. It also came with an awesome pen and a hardcore canister which you unscrew the bottom and doubles up as a stubbie holder, very cool gear!

this reminds me, i still need to go pick a new watch...

I like the strap on that watch Nik.  Its definitely a watch you have when you have many watches.  If you catch my drift.

Sig worthy.

Yeah, totally agree. I do like it though.

Do you want a classic face, or something modern? Circle or square? What's your preferred diameter?

Just out of curiosity, what's a citizen pocket watch worth? In iMac condition, belonged to my grandfathers grandfather...

Probably not much in the way of cash unfortunately mate. Citizen only made their first “watch” in 1924 and first wrist watch in 1931 so they aren’t exactly old. They are also an Asian (albeit Japanese) movement, so not nearly as sort after as an ETA or in house Swiss or German movement. Unfortunately vintage Japanese watches aren’t worth a great deal so at a guess I’d say anywhere between $50-$200. Do you have any other details etc on the watch? Serial number? Mechanical or Quartz movement? etc

I'd just keep it as theres much more sentimental than monetary value with a piece like that

worth is a term that gets thrown around quite loosely but a shade north of 100k should get one on your wrist Gary
