35 here today.
I was chatting to a mate in the Melb Fire Brigade about Black Saturday. He said the BOM forecast 47deg on the day of the fires but it was broadcast as 43deg so as not to cause panic.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Yeah, I have no idea. I'm guessing they got into the tap. When I was emptying to keg into bottles, there was a couple of boittles with dead ants, so I binned them, and kept going. I now have 8 bottles of shit beer in my fridge im going to palm off to inebriated guests.

Shaz! Don't quit it. Go back through everything you did, and see if there's a reason it's shit. Also google the machine and see if anyone else had the same deal, or if anyone had success. Pretty much everyone chucks their first homebrew. I persisted and drank all 20L of mine, but it was shit and full of acetaldehyde. It got better with time, but after 6 months it was still pretty average.

I'm so pumped to do this landscaping in the backyard, but I have no idea where to start. We're going to get someone in to build the deck, and the new patio roof. I'm going to do the retaining wall, sink the trampoline into the ground, and do most of the prep for the laying of the artificial lawn.
Vicky and I have decided that this year our big spend is on the backyard. We need it to be more usable for the kids, and better for entertaining. At the moment it's a bit sad and embarrassing when we do have people over.

It's a bit of a waste anyway. If I'm long hauling the only reason I'm getting out of bed is to get another beer. That private room with a minibar would be all you need.
