Hi,

Well, last time I was in your car I'm pretty sure I 'phoned home' - time and a place is something you understand I guess.

Cheers,
Nik

It's the only way to eliminate the inaccuracy of the speedo, apart from GPS which didn't exist back then.
When I did this (on the racetrack  ) the speedo was showing 195.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Got done estimated between a minimum of 125km and Max of 135km in a 60zone going into an 80 zone. Incorporated into my dangerous driving charge so 12 month loss of license. $750 fine after court costs. Hmm costly learning curve.

About 180 (I think) before I chickened out and backed off on the back straight at QR in a 92 Honda Accord. Was the first and only time I did that circuit and it's pretty imposing coming up on the concrete barrier at the end when you haven't even tested the car/brakes at that speed before.

No speedo but around 5500-5750rpm in 5th (around 220-230) down the back straight at QR in my hack. Could do more I reckon but I'm a bit early on the brakes (because gutless).
Graig Baird took me for a lap in a porsche and I was too scared to look at the speedo. Lets say faster than my hack. He's an amazing driver.
60 in a 50, two days before x-mas the mongrels.
I shouldn't elaborate on how fast on public roads, however I'm sure the statutes of limitations don't count for 25 years ago.
Lets just say me and a brand new VL Walkinshaw were heading down the Goldy side by side on the old Pacific Hwy and my mild 302 Clevo XB Coupe was at 5500-5600 with a 2.75 nine inch and I was juusstt pulling away from him. God I miss my Coupe. :-(

I remember a bloke in a gold RX3 (maybe RX4) with simmons wheels on it got his photo taken doing over 200 in the Harbour Tunnel.
He was testing the brand new speed cameras. :P
It was a very long time ago.

Yeah older but sweeter :sarcastic:

There was a story segment years ago before the cams on "Today tonight" about this new generation of hoons in their rotary & tarbo powered machines flying through the tunnel at speeds well over 200k's. It was such a ****. This dumb Posted Image was saying to the reporter "Yeah babe we's got a 200 tunnel club going on. It's for the adrenaline or somfin. We's fully sik"

Nek minit.....

Every dick and his civic were pushing their limits under the harbour.

The noise was mad when 2 cars were flogging it.

At that speed it was over real quick.

Down
in
out :drinks:

Passenger in a Nascar at the Thunderdome, back when they had the Nascar/Auscar series, no idea of speed all I know is it was fast.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Was. *sniff*
Owned it for 20 years, sold it about 7 years ago.
Still see at shows once in a while. A guy from the club bought it and we agreed I have FRoR when he decides to sell.
Problem is, he Posted Image'ing loves it!
