I can't wait to get my exhaust installed. It will sound similar to yours Shiv.

Yeh it will. Your generation of EZ30 sound slightly different but they sound awesome. Very unique.

Nah I looked into getting headers but my mechanic and I concluded it was not worth it. I got mine in mild steel. Just a 2.5"inch cat back. Pretty sure the Varex muffler comes in a few standard sizes. I can't really remember what exact size as its been a couple years now, but it was the one best for my car.

Sick, can't wait.

This is the one I'm getting: http://www.bestmuffl...8a1aba57fc3eac0

It's in mild steel too but is 2¼" instead of your 2.5".

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Good package deal that. I wish they had those for my generation EZ30. Virtually no aftermarket parts for them...

What size do most people on LibertyASN get? 2.5 or 2.25"?

I was recommended these by a few of the boys at club.liberty. I've gone on a couple of their meets and each of them say the same thing and have mostly gone for the 2¼". They also said there isn't really a point in going for the stainless steel as they can't justify the extra $200 specifically for longevity. And the fact that it takes a little longer to warm up before you get the nice sound.

What do you think?

Its interesting to hear what they say. I wonder if maybe I should have gone for the 2.25....

Agreed with the point regarding longevity.

Obviously if you go too big in your piping it'll lose compression and sound weird, but I reckon 2¼-2.5" are good. Anything larger (unless it's the tip) would just make the car crap. So you're saying you'd go for the stainless over mild steel?

Sorry should have been clearer. I was agreeing that you don't need to go stainless unless you're after longevity. Which I'm not.

Then I have made the right decision as well, ha ha. The only thing I'm questioning is the darker look of the system. I guess the tips show the nice chrome you'd expect, and I won't be able to see the rest of it. I'm being picky, ha ha.

I must make my exhaust quieter...

Refer to my statement in your thread :P

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Say I had STi tips from wherever, would I be able to add it onto my Xforce exhaust system for that STi goodness or would it be too much trouble/silly idea?

The sti mufflers are a straight bolt up to the xforce centre and y pipe.
Exactly what I have.

What is the difference in performance (if any) and sound?

Sweet. What about getting just the tips? Waste of money, time and effort I assume considering the whole exhaust system will be purchased brand new?

I would stick with the xforce system as a whole for now.

If you get sick of the noise down the track, Buy some STI rear mufflers. They are pricey though.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother with sti tips on xforce mufflers.

Why bother?
