The dump comes directly off the turbo so if its a 'dump back', it's a turbo back. Same, same.

i think there's a miss-communication with the wording used here.

Zac so everyone's on the same page

Turbo Back Exhaust = Dump/s pipe/s, catalytic converter, centre pipe and rear diff back section with rear muffler aka full exhaust system
Cat Back Exhaust = Catalytic converter, centre pipe and rear diff back section with rear muffler
Diff Back Exhaust = rear diff back section with rear muffler

Thanks for all that... well, my car was looked at on the weekend, and they said its not a turbo back, its a dumps back... but I guess that means turbo back them... so all good... I will check it out in an exhaust shop eitherway, coz I still think I need a new rear muffler someday... but I'm kind of ok with the drone at cruising speed... its not that bad, just got to drown it out with music... LOL

Oh and thanks for the sticker Aek... someone told me to get rid of it too when they checked out my car and told me about the TBE.... but I won't ever remove that sticker.. might get more... ;)

(from the) Dumps back could also mean Cat back.

When you say Turbo back, you don't actually replace the Turbo - it's everything back from the turbo. So Dumps back could mean not replacing the dumps, it's everything back from the dumps.

Ahhh I see... well the dude who saw it on the weekend said the dumps I had were stock. so it wasn't a TBE, could be everything back from the dumps... but the dude who sold it to me said TBE.... grrr

This actually makes sense.

Leaving the stock dump pipes and making a system after that seems like a pretty good idea.

So today, drove my car from Penrith to Chatswood, so thats about 60km... not too bad, was fun in a cruiser... anyway, when I got to my destination, I turned the car off and went to the church for about 2 hours... and when I got back, started the car, and there was a tonne of smoke coming out the exhaust... I don't think it was white smoke, might have been blue, when means oil, right?

Was strange, coz it was only coming out for about 10 seconds, then it was fine, no more smoke, and nothing while driving. Started the car again later after an hour of not driving it, and it was fine again, no smoke.

Can anyone guess why there was smoke? Maybe I didn't let the car cool down after the long drive, or coz it was parked on a slope or something, but I can't explain it...
