Zac needs a big core Hyperflow unit. They come up for sale every now and then.

My mate had one. Made a massive difference.

I want one, have only ever seen one come up for sale in the last year :( IM don't seem to have process west stuff in japan, only the ARC top mounts, do you know if they're any good?
Don't really want to go cutting up bumpers for a front mount.

Damn that is a nice Black Beast!

That is a very thick TMIC... Nice... :)

When I have money and the urge to get one, will be on the lookout... will be nice to see what it does... :)

Just compared specs... The Hyperflow one has nearly double the volume of the ARC one! It's on the list hahaha

01-07 I believe, but only with a lot of hassle for minimal gains. Better to go for a Hyperflow designed for our car.

Wouldn't even bother with a wrx or sti intercooler. Wouldn't do much at all.

Wait for one of these babies to come up ;)

From what i remember, We got a little bit of lag from the new cooler. (More space to fill up with boost pressure)

Boost felt so much more stronger and stable though! Awesome.

It's a rebadged Hyperflow TMIC

Also I remember hearing that the process west GC8 TMIC fits with minimal modding

Yeah these have a ticket price of $1149 so this is a good buy for new.

They truly are a work of art though. The second revisions endtanks are milled out of billet aluminum - if you take a peek inside you can see all the machining marks. Brilliantly engineered!

Have you found a strut brace that fits with these Tim?

Or not bothering?

Any idea if an 01-07 STI Hyperflow TMIC will fit on my car?

The dimensions are bigger them the ones in the links above...

Core size 495x195x114 mm

Not without a lot of work. All OEM TMIC for 01-present WRX are larger then that of the B4, therefor aftermarket will be even bigger again. Your best bet is to look for aftermarket GC8 coolers

Ryan (MurfB4) told me the Whiteline strutbrace fits in front of the hyperflow unit. But i'm not bothering for the moment - Front Strut Brace has more of a placebo effect i think. Better off spending money on swaybars IMHO.

The car still see-saw's on kerbs if you go up diagonally, so i don't think it's really missing any bracing.

Zac: there's bugger all room even with the B4 Hyperflow unit - I wouldn't want to go any bigger.

Feel better Zac? If I had more time I wouldve got a can of upper engine cleaner to run through aswell. But I can help again with that another time if need be!
