Stop picking fights, Nik!
Nah. I get what you are saying comparisons are definitely hard.
I know I paste this alot. But I consider myself to to a large variety of driving. And you can see on my graph how much it varies!!!
Which app is that?

o2 sensor fixed it, and i only got 1 tank before it was written off. Went from 300 to nearly 500km per tank

True point then. And the majority of my driving is done on city and suburban roads. Never in the country. Only place I consider the 'country' is drives to Wollongong when I'm visiting family.Hi,
A lot of people stretch the truth on their fuel consumption in my experience. Also, everyone drives differently, comparing fuel efficiency over the internet is about as helpful as comparing insurance quotes.
Cheers,
Nik
Once I get what I want done with the car (mod-wise) and get a tune, I assume it'll improve.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

I've been doing the same thing for my 2.2 litre prelude for 5 years. I always get around 9L/100km..never seen 10litres ever unless I drove near the cbd for a week or two.
Of course there are times you'll get stuck in traffic for half an hour here and there but it shouldnt affect the consumption that much. Maybe all that idling/crawling along wastes 20-30 km of fuel...
Example.
Fill up:
50 litres, travelled 550km = 9L/100km
50 litres, 520km = 9.6L/100km
Which is acceptable, but going from my 9.5 to say 14L/100km, I would think my car is dumping out black smoke most of the time.

i think quite the opposite, well from my experience anywaysCity cars never get a chance to get a flogging unless the owner does a long trip every week.
my car gets anywhere from 12-16L per hunge depending on how i feel, i never drive it not on boost tho
freeway kms it gets 10L per 100 or less
