If I just disconnected my battery on my Liberty B4 for a while, would that reset the ECU also? or is that only for WRXs?

Do you have a Brandt? If so don't do this haha
But yes it will reset the ECU.

Has a Brandt, but has been disconnected apparently... well I don't enter any code to start the car or anything, so I assume its disconnected... cool... might try it sometime... see what it does...

I think I might try get the exhaust looked at and change the o2 sensors.
Should I change the spark plugs and coil packs or would this be pointless?

I'm getting about 13L per 100 km. Is that normal as well for my wagon? There are many people on SubyClub that seem to get much better fuel efficiency...

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

One thing that mechanics have told me is a highway car is always be smoother compared to an identical city driven car.

Mechanically better? Probably, provided services are done on time.. City cars never get a chance to get a flogging unless the owner does a long trip every week.

To the Op how many km on the engine?

Hi,

A lot of people stretch the truth on their fuel consumption in my experience. Also, everyone drives differently, comparing fuel efficiency over the internet is about as helpful as comparing insurance quotes.

Cheers,
Nik

Hi,

I said a lot of people, I definitely don't consider you a lot of people.

But still. Unless the car is driving the same route, by the same driver, the results are really very rough to use as a guide. I get 9.4L/100K out of the same engine/car as Garrrry.

Cheers,
Nik

Sames.

I'm averaging around 11.5L/100km for both the XT and the Calais

Stop picking fights, Nik!

Nah. I get what you are saying :) comparisons are definitely hard.

I know I paste this alot. But I consider myself to to a large variety of driving. And you can see on my graph how much it varies!!!

At the end of the day if you like your car and you like driving it does it really matter if it uses a bit more fuel than someone else's car?

Mine averages around 15L/100km but 0 forks are given.
