I would love to see the cops stop wasting time on booking people for doing 10km/h over the speed limit and actually police things that count, such as faggots tailgating people and the scenario that I just mentioned, that would go a lot further to helping cut road tolls.
Watching the impatient fuckers out there who are undertaking then forcing themselves into small gaps that are dangerous to try and get one position further down the line when some wanker is blocking the right lane is just as ridiculous, happened heaps yesterday, at least when it is happening I maintain a decent distance between me and the shitstain lane blocker, I get angry as Posted Image at them but I don't tailgate them.

I still hate slow people who speed up when you are trying to overtake them...

I had to overtake 4 people in a row on a single lane road on the weekend, because they were all doing 55 in an 80 zone. As soon as I overtook, the rest of the cars also overtook the rookie doing well below the speed limit.

Yeah, pretty hard one to Police though, because unless they actually see it, there's not much they can do.

If they see it happening, down here at least, they always seem to ping someone.

That's a seriously scary situation, I used to do that a lot. Not anymore. You just have no idea what the people two or three cars in front are thinking. I had a couple of extremely brown pants moments around the corner from me on the highway, and I think that's the last time I have gone a four or five car overtake, and that was in the B4.

B4 win... but nah, I know what you mean... I'd rather go slow and be late than risk overtaking 3-4 cars

It was a long ass straight, with zero cars coming for at least 1km, so I deemed it safe to do so. I don't normally overtake on a single lane road, but when I do, its 4 slow ass cars.

Its also worth mentioning that I overtook all 4 cars, without doing above the 80km/h speed limit.

But that is what I mean Nikko, stop sitting on the side of the road with a Posted Image'ing radar gun and actually drive around and observe behavior, or hide a bit and when someone drives past tailgating someone, nab them for it. But instead they are all to busy wasting time and just raising revenue.

Yeah, I'm not having a go at you. Trust me. When my mate worked here in his tarbot VL, I had my Forester, we would race most of the length of the road that's taken more lives per kilometre than anywhere else in the state, and we would be pushing the limits, every single day to get to his place and suck back a cone. I remember him wafting through an esses section broken up by a bridge and he bottomed out so hard there was sparks and some shit which I assume was roadbase hit the front of my car.

Just sayin' stay safe mang.

:D
