Ash, I have a QNAP myself, they are brilliant little things and really easy to use. It's all wrapped in a pretty web interface too.

Ah mad, they are only 5 mins from me.

Although they are a bit more expensive from PcCasegear who are also not far from these guys.

@ Ash: TS-439 Pro II (with 4x 2TB in a RAID 5 = 6 terra)

[RAID 5 - use 1 disk for protection - lose 1 disk capacity, so you can have one drive fail and not lose your data]
[RAID 6 - use 2 disks for protection - lose 2 disks capacity, so you can have two drives fail and not lose your data]

RAID 5 is perfect for a 4 bay NAS

it's gotta be the misfire! Check engine light comes on straight after misfire.

Will visit god tomorrow and see what he has. Seems like an issue I should fix ASAP
