the job is 50 minutes from where i live currently, im not too keen on the commute unless there is a decent financial benefit to it. im not desperate for a new job, just think a change at the moment may be of benefit to me. i dont think they would offer me the money im chasing though either

Ah fair enough then man. I guess travel does play a big part, but even so, if I make it into the police force for example I'll have to go to Goulburn from Monday to Friday, and I can choose to come back home for the weekend which I'll most probably do. Depending on what you want out of the job and what they offer of course is a major factor. But sometimes a bit of sacrifice could end up making the big difference in the end financially.

Yeah its looking like its a bs video created by a guy that is ripping off backpackers, but maybe not, just not a reliable source. He's been on ACA a few times apparently. Was all over my feed for some reason, but everyone loves to hate cops.

I did it for five years in the same place. In Hurstville as well. People who work there or go there for whatever reason will definitely understand why.
