Comfy as fark for a highway car though. And so big inside!

A friend of mine recently grabbed a toyota lexcen crossover, or the toyota commodore as we call it.
It's like a small house inside, but it's terrifying around corners, pretty sure his suspension is beyond Posted Image'ed.

I nailed some steaks on the BBQ today! Perfect caramelisation. And they had an awesome colour on them!!!!

If I cooked them for myself I would've taken a pitcher!

My '97 Commodore was a better highway cruiser than the '07 3.0RB and uses less fuel.

Took the RX for a spin. That thing is a VERY competent street car and I would say, point to point, much quicker than the 30RB.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

The RB is about 40kg heavier IIRC.

Not enough to make a difference, must be the 2500rpm @ 120kph (right in the middle if the fat torque curve) vs nearly 3000rpm at the same speed and still a few grand off peak torque.

Como engine is ready to explode at the same revs that the RB just starts to wake up!

Just had a mental picture of you in a Commodore doing that!

Hahahahahahhahaha

Mates SS VS, everyone yibbeted on about how much a beast it was and how it would monster my Forester. He'd put quite a bit of work into it, I knew less then than I know now if that's even a real thing, so not sure what it was. He let me drive on the promise he could drive the Foz. I went round the back of my joint with him and two others in the car, car coming the other way I just drifted off to make space for both cars - probably doing a buck twenty - everyone in the car started screaming and bouncing around which didn't help the fact that the car was a bowl of jelly itself.... such a joke... he made me hand the keys back, I was glad to. Said to him to jump in the Forester, buck thirty, dropped the two left onto the gravel, kept driving, no dramas, back onto the tarmac, sweet as.

He now drives a fairly neatly modded GC8.

Haha.

:)

Maybe it wasn't even him.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Had a really productive day today. I think it goes without saying I have been lacking motivation to do anything lately. I think I've been getting worse and worse. And tonight, I'm actually not dreading going to work.

So I need to work on keeping myself busy on weekends I think :)

hehehe they do grip well Nikko! One thing they are actually good at. Having said that though, the B4 was a laughable understeering mess from factory. bit better now with the few things I have done but it certainly doesn't possess what I would call good handling.
