Yeah, the legacy garnish has the light spread evenly across.

I think you can do it on the liberty one, but you need to dremel some bits out?

Yeah I thinking about getting a dremel and mucking around with a spare garnish that's cracked in half that I have

That's not what your question was about...

Anyway.

I'm not sure. I've never owned a Gen 2 Outback. I would suggest you get in there and have a look!

I have a full gen 3 gtb tail gate harness and have installed the gtb garnish on my gen3 I set about changing the harness over all the same, bar the 2 plugs in that right hand rear kick panel and am I better to stick with full harness and change plug sockets or just piggy back like this? It has brake and tail light working combination in the wagon garnish. Cheers
Gen3 + 2.2 + 35R + 6spd = FTW

I read that about 7 times and still didn't understand it.

However, I did install a JDM garnish on my Gen 3 wagon and I just spliced into the factory harness to get the extra tail/brake lights working.

Did you have any pictures of when you did this on your gen 3 Morgan?

Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

I don't sorry...

Was easy though. The loom runs down the RHS rear pillar and I just ran some extra wiring from the Legacy garnish and spliced into the loom. Using a multimeter (or test light) and a friend to press the brake pedal/switch on the headlights, etc.
