Yep! Has done nearly 4,000 clicks in the 4 weeks i have owned it. Put it on my hoist the other day, Nothing wrong with it. Felt generous enough to change the oil, No filter. Flog the crap out of it every day haha.

Quiet, Cheap, Reliable, Towbar and it's no longer flat red :)

Awesome daily!

Haha. Lucky it's not for young cousins or something.

What I meant to say was when searching browsing for these movies, there was 10 pornos to 1 disney movie..

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The motto of Porsche design I assume?

After watching all the seasons of Top Gear... Clarkson rags on this so hard, it's actually kinda amusing.

No more VN red!

Looks more like an oversized tomato now.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Much of a muchness... But I'd go the hook type.

They look just a little easier to manoeuvre.I may be wrong.

I've used the claw type. In fact, I'm pretty sure I own like three sets of these. Trouble is that you lend them to people, and they never seem to return.

When you give shit to people, take a picture of them holding/next to it and then you won't forget :D

Good idea.

I'm talking though in the last 10 years or so, before phones had colour screens, cameras, and the like!

But a damned good idea nonetheless.

Sam, You should buy none.

Spring compressors are the most dangerous thing to use by yourself.

If you do buy some, Buy the hook type. And always use them with a friend around :)

Fucken spring compressors.

I would give you mine if they weren't so flogged out! I wrap em up in a big sheet or something so that of they come off, at least the sheet will hopefully slow it down!!

I still think you should contact a local workshop and see if they would do it for you cheap if you took em the struts and springs on a Saturday morning!

You will find the injuries sustained from the 'hook' type will be less than the injuries from the 'claw' type as they will fail with less force.

As we are required to invest in the safest possible equipment, we us one of these:

Probably the best spring compressor I've eve used.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yikes, don't have a $1k to spare on one of them..
Okay, so survey says 'hook' type.

But, I'll try what Adam suggested first then.

Fair enough.

It's only a one-time thing, so that may be better.

I was thinking I'd get them, so I can drop the front (to get rid of that stupid gap).. then if the back is too high (the 18's sit snug at the moment, but it might end up looking weird), I can do it at my own time/pace.
