What I meant to say was whenHaha. Lucky it's not for young cousins or something.
After watching all the seasons of Top Gear... Clarkson rags on this so hard, it's actually kinda amusing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The motto of Porsche design I assume?
Looks more like an oversized tomato now.No more VN red!

When you give shit to people, take a picture of them holding/next to it and then you won't forgetI've used the claw type. In fact, I'm pretty sure I own like three sets of these. Trouble is that you lend them to people, and they never seem to return.

So someone can rush me to hospital? Haha.Sam, You should buy none.
Spring compressors are the most dangerous thing to use by yourself.
If you do buy some, Buy the hook type. And always use them with a friend around

Question -
Buying spring compressors. What should I go for?
The "hook" type:
or the "Claw" type:
??
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yikes, don't have a $1k to spare on one of them..You will find the injuries sustained from the 'hook' type will be less than the injuries from the 'claw' type as they will fail with less force. As we are required to invest in the safest possible equipment, we us one of these:
Probably the best spring compressor I've eve used.
