Today I will be adding some more pink bits to my ever growing STi part list.  I'm such a sucker for the pink badge.

You're not the only one man. ;)

Very nice update. Keen to see it once again man! You'll be picking up all the sexy Hunter Valleyans with this machine.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

RevE covers are one of my favorite changes I did to my B4. It's a nice subtle change

I made a few changes whilst getting the car ready for HVC.  I finally got around to painting my 4 Pots so now the front and rear match in colour. They came up really good and I used decals for the lettering. I have the raised letters on my caIlipers and the decals fit perfectly.

Next on my list was to paint the ends of my strut brace. I'm a bit bummed by the look TBH.  The quality & finish of the paint is excellent but I miss the STi pink. As much as the pink clashed with the red around the engine bay, I still prefer the old look to what it is now. I hope it grows on me.

In the above photo you can also see some other changes along with the strut brace. The coolant reservoir top has been painted black. The red vac lines from the BBOD have been tidied up with some black conduit.  A new black silicone joiner for the intercooler to replace the red one.

I've reduced the amount of red in the engine bay a fair bit.  Going back to mainly black with just a few highlights of red.

The red lines from the radiator have been tucked under the post MAF pipe to conceal them and will be replaced at a later date with black OEM hose.

Last of all......

I've grown tired of the B4 blue on the door trims and seats. Years ago I used Vinyl dye on the interior of a car to change it from sky blue to beige. The dye worked great and was suprisingly durable and hard wearing. So I hit the blue leather on the door trim with a gloss black dye.

No pics.

I forking hate it.

It looks like fake plastic goth leather.

God I'm pissed off.

Should've got the matt black dye.

:fork: it.

Nice touches. I can't say I like the black instead of STi pink (you know how I roll with that one!), and it's unfortunate that the doors turned out like that. Are you not able to dye it again with the matte black?

That's the plan, Gaz.  Not for a couple days though. If I don't like the Matte, I will replace all the door trims or look at getting them retrimmed.  I have a black leather Heritage rear seat lined up also. I'm done with the B4 colours but I'm not going to settle for worse.
