Question guys. With the new 18" wheels I put on my car I find the ride is not as good as my 17"s. I realise that would happen due to wheel size and tyre profile but would you guys recommend to get the wheels balanced?

Does your car feel like it's gonna fall apart when you hit 80k's?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Nope. I'm just noticing move feedback from road vibration.

 

What makes you think that a wheel balance is going to make any difference?

 

Over this weekend I'm gonna be doing over 1000kms in this car and I want to make sure its all good to do that distance on the wheels I just put on.


Also whats the deal with hub centric locating rings? Do I need them?

Take off your center caps. Is there a gap between the hub center and wheel?

Only if there is space between the hub centre and the centre of the wheel, if there is your rims might not be properly centered as there is often a couple of mm of clearance between the wheel studs and the holes in the rim for the wheel nuts to go...

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.
