I've always been a Playstation guy since Gran Turismo 2 (back in 1998 or something)...
Never really liked the Xbox controllers.

Xbox is going after the casual gamer or people wanting a home theatre, like when ps3 came out alot of people only got it for the blu-ray.
And the new ps4 controller is kind of weird, I like the idea of the light changes so each players controller is the corresponding colour to that on screen, but that light is used to track where the player is in the room.
I'd rather wait atleast 6 months before buying either, because a lot of the features are for the US market and only later do they update the rest of the world.

I actually really like the xbox controller. its really comfortable for playing long sessions.
And the new ps4 controller is kind of weird,
I like it. They have made improvements that were needed over the old Dual-Shock.

Hard. Any opportunity for a company to prove their worth in front of their consumers always benefits. Similar to what Samsung did to Apple when releasing the S3.

E3 is on at the moment and Microsoft had their press event. Xbox One will be out in November and it will be $499 in the US. EBgames says it will be $599.

Pumped for the Sony announcement.
Although, I must say, Forza 5 looks like a winnar! It will be interesting to see how it compares against the PS4 Driveclub.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Keen to read up on all the news when I get home. Aesthetically I think the Xbox One looks better, but everything so far for me makes me want the PS4.

PS4 allows unlimited used games, no online connection required. You can use an Android smart phone or PS Vita as additional screen for minimap style gameplay through Bluetooth connection.
