according to Shaz's thing the Xbox is cheaper in australia though by $50? even though the PS4 is cheaper in USD?

my apologies then. thought that might have been the case!

im currently leaning towards the PS4 based on what ive read so far, as much as id like the Xbox for Forza 5, the PS4 is stacking up to be the better buy!

 

might wait a few months after release regardless for the price to drop a bit and for the bugs to be worked out of them

I said good-bye after Halo 3, didn't realise Bungie was going to make Reach, but yeah. Forza isn't enough of a drawcard for me to buy an entire console, and I don't go for FPS these days. Was burnt out on FPS after CoD4.

 You can use an Android smart phone or PS Vita as additional screen for minimap style gameplay through Bluetooth connection.

But are Playstation users willing to play, to play multiplayer as most got used to it being free?

I'm happy to pay $60 a year if they make servers that actually forking work. Hahaha.

Sony's servers have never been a problem on the free network. For me anyway. I think PS3 was on Akamai, and the PS4 will use Gaikai servers.

 

But I am willing to pay for access, as long as it comes with the same bonuses as having a PlayStation Plus membership now (free games, cheaper digital content etc).

 

Forza can go to hell until the XBOX works with most third party wheels (Logitech, Fanatec GT3 etc). Not that I would buy the console for one game, as good as Forza is, Gran Turismo and my PC games more than make up for it.
