I've decided to bite the bullet and put my headlights/indicators in the oven, Pull them apart and give the surrounds a hint of black.
Hopefully it works out ok.
Something about putting headlights in the oven just doesn't feel normal.
Opinions? I personally think it will look good with the whole black on silver thing I've got going on.
I'm also tracking down some Type-M SF5 STI foglight covers.

I put my gen II projectors in the oven back in the day. Nothing scary about it. Just don't over do it. Also thinking of doing my forester headlights too. With the whole black and silver theme

I either need to somehow get my glued in or melted parkers out... and headlights in the oven might be the only way... that, or buy new headlights...

Off the top of my head it was something like 75degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or something to that effect but once you got it out you had to work fast. Best to use gloves to not to burn your hands but still be able to handle it. Easier as a 2 person job.

I was rewarded with some JDM V6 STI heads this afternoon. FOR FREE!
They won't fit.
GD WRX cams will be used instead as they will work with the currently valvetrain with no problems or extra stress.
Doing favours for people seems to pay off.
My current short block is extremely healthy thanks to some tests. So maybe I should just throw these heads on after some rebuild love, Re-tune and join the 200KW club.
