This is specifically for H6 owners I am after rough fuel usage for you car, whether it be half tank or full tank

I don't ususally drive my car as its my misses daily car, but I drove it today and its sitting at 168km and its used half a tank already!!! is this normal?

I have done some searching but can not find any specific H6 info on here, I have looked into redbook and given it states that Urban driving is 11l/100km, and a full tank is 64L, so going off my calculations there is something wrong with the car

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Mine drinks like a V8.

I squeeze out 420-480kms (max) from about 57/58L of fuel. All my driving is city driving. I don't nanny it. I use the air-con.

On the highway, I can get about 550kms out of a tank.

I run it on 95. Once a month I like to give it 98.

60lit gets me about 450kms.

Hey Jase, do you find Intelligent mode makes much of a difference to economy? Or do you not really use it much?

Intelligent mode shouldn't really make a difference to economy as it's only throttle mapping. It does prevent the throttle from going to 100% (max is about 75%) but the ramp is so slow and the car feels so lazy you tend to have your foot on the floor most of the time. The last tank fill was almost all intelligent mode and it seemed to use more than when in Sport mode.

Next tank will be entirely Sport Sharp to see the difference.

My screen tells me that I'm getting 12.4L/100 km (with under 140,000 km on the clock). I haven't done a specific analysis on how much I really get out of the tank but after yesterday's cruise I am almost due for a refuel. I'll let you know exactly how much I squeeze out of my next tank.

I always refuel on 98.

Ah, right. So it's actually displaying more than it should?

Download an app called Fuel Log and record a couple of fill ups and see how you go.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Correct.

Typically at 110kph on the dash is 101kph on the road.

I wish you hadn't told me that. Cause now I'll be pushing it further. :P

And in turn, does that mean it would display that you're using more fuel than you actually are?

I average about 10.8L/100km, I think the older H6's are slightly better on fuel.

What about when you increase your rolling radius?

I understand fuel consumption goes up then too.

What about when you increase your rolling radius?

It will decrease the error.

So since I put 18's on and my GPS says 110/111km/h when my Speedo says 110km/h ... how accurate is that?

Well scott,

After buying the Big H6 off you, I have got so far about 350km to 3/4 of a tank on 95. Not the most fuel efficient but really nice to drive
