My folks had a Sigma wagon when I was a little tacker. I have a sentimental love for those cars. There's was only a 2L though. 1979 model.
Personally I wouldn't pay $6k for one, regardless of how well kept it is. It's still an old car, with old tech. It's also not really a classic,or a cult car. You'd have to really love them.

Find one for $800, weld up the rear diff, take it out in the bush and have fun with it till it stops. I did this with a bunch of mates a few years ago. Best memories.
