Hi,
You get those ads because you're in NSW. We don't see those.
The 'stop the boats' policy isn't about how many illegals are coming here, the numbers are miniscule compared to legal immigration - yet we spend almost the same amount through NAVY etc, to deal with the issue.

So, I think when I finish my degree, I'm going to start looking for jobs overseas.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

POLITICAL hopeful Clive Palmer says Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is too scared to debate him publicly.
The mining magnate says he has chosen 150 candidates to stand in all lower house seats for his fledgling Palmer United Party and will stand a Senate team in every state - more candidates than the Liberal Party is putting up.
He says that should give him the right to join in debates between Mr Rudd and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott.
"You've all been at press conferences with Kevin Rudd and Tony Abbott and you know that their intellectual capacity is no different to mine, but they're too frightened to debate me," he told reporters in Brisbane.
Mr Palmer said the Mr Rudd, who has in the past chided Mr Abbott for not debating him, particularly doesn't want to tackle him head on.
"(Mr Rudd) won't debate me - the leader of the party - because he's terrified," he said.
"He knows he won't win the battle of ideas."
