[Blackhawk]

So in an unfortunate accident at King Lake, involving oily, muddy roads and rain, my Gen 4 Liberty was written off.

 

Hello to Gen3 RX

 

Its been a busy week of ownership, installed a 2DIN headunit, Sub and Amp, Footwell Lighting, full LED changeout, Vinyl over headlights and fog lights, LED Headlights, Boot LED Strip, Full detail in the engine bay, outside is next.

 

Don't have many pics for now, I will throw up what I have.

 

Plans, not sure at the moment, maybe an exhaust, JDM HID headlights and JDM rear lights and garnish, and wheels, however not sure as I am going to be looking at getting a 3.0R-B Post Facelift Liberty early next year, might give this one to the girlfriend.

 

It's a slight step down from my Gen 4 to the Gen 3, I miss a lot of tiny things like the lock doors button, or how when you pull the key out, the lights on the Gen4 turn on :3

Looking good man. What did you do with your Gen IV?! Any parts? Did you part it out or wreck it?

AAMI took it man, as for parts the cosmetic bits like grill, lip, eyelids were all smashed :/

 

As it was the 2.0R, not really any engine mods you can do.

Looks good Josh. Have you tinted the headlights or do you have headlights protected that you've smoked? Should come down to the Burwood meets on Wednesday! Keen to go back out to Kinglake, or going to just keep it sedate for a while? Where abouts did you prang it, would happen to be after Kinglake on the Toolangi road, right hander with guard rail on the outside that sort of merges into the clay/rock wall?

You need to tell me where you got those parkers!

 

They are different headlight to ours. Pull out the current globe in your headlights (Need to fully remove headlight to access parkers) then look at what type of globe it is, get onto eBay and type in (e.g) ba15 LED globe etc.

When I read it back to myself I did question if it was a little over the top lol. Just making sure he can handle the pressure so he makes the cut to come to Burwood meets

LED Interior Lights
LED Parker Globes
Vinyl Wrapped Foglights Yellow
Vinyl Wrapped Headlights Light Black
6000k HID's installed in Low Beams
6000k HID's installed in Fog Lights
Painted Brakes red for extra 50kw
Painted Wheels Black with Plastidip
Removed Intake Resonators
A few stickers for the extra kw's

 

The lights are just vinyl over them, not keen to go out to kinglake for a little while hah, had the accident on the turn with the 'OIL ON ROAD' signs, where you turn right, there is a small driveway on the left, and a nice tree/log in the embankment which my car cleaned up. I think its the one you're thinking off..
