Samnuts you need to wire in power from the number plate lights. Blue/black wire spliced with 2 new wires (dark brown in my case). They run to & are spliced into the white wire from the bulb holder. That's it.

Cheers Boss. Looks pretty simple.

Will have a go at it tomorrow. Need to get some wiring, leccy tape and a wire stripper.. :P

I think it just needs a power supply to complete the loop. All the wires are there and they just need power which isn't supplied by the OEM loom so some is borrowed from the plate lights.

Yeah, plate lights make sense, for park, that is. Was thinking about using my spare spoiler wiring, but that'll only work for breaks, haha.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

So, I've been battling with a blocked drain all day. 100M WD waste drain, snaked it/plunged it - no luck, even got the jet machine in to have a crack - no luck. Just kept hitting.

fork.

Must be a broken pipe. Right? RIGHT?

I don't know if we have many plumbers on here, but this is what it looks like when some lazy piece of shit doesn't connect a 100MM waste dump to anything at all, and just buries it 600 deep in grit;

qyrQoCF.jpg

We dug it out, but this pipe was just ending in dirt.

Seriously.

Fridays.

$25 scotch. What more is there to know.

Yuck.

I was trying to be nice.

YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

And, four years that's been draining to nothing, but I haven't used it very often, only for very light amounts of liquid - so the soil/grit would just have been absorbing it. But we had so much rain this winter.

Yep. Plus it'll be hidden in the boot, behind trim. Who cares, long as it works.

I just mean, Solder properly again...like when I was at Tafe all those years ago.

At my age Adam, you can unlearn almost anything.

Optima's are good batteries. I've got a yellow top. I can sit around playing music for minimum half hour before having to worry about a jump.
