hiya, sorry if been asked, havent found it if it has,
just got a GFB BOV and went to install it on my 01 B4 and she dont fit, has anyone fitted one before, if so how?

Need one that is designed for the 98-03 legacy/liberty B4. Not all of their model BOVs fit.
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

If you have the T9000, you may need to undo the four allen key bolts on the top, rotate the top section (with the fittings for the vac lines) 90 degrees, then bolt it back together again. This way it will clear the intake manifold.

Mine didn't fit with the trumpet attachment either, but I didn't want it on there anyway so I went with the 50/50 vent option.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Did anyone notice any adverse effects when used with the sequential turbos?
From my understanding this would need to recirculate for normal/optimal performance, therefore wouldn't be any more audible than the factory bov?

These things are loud. You can tune them down by adjusting to recirc if you have a vagina. Full atmo sounds a bit hectic (as Aek would put it) so you have to find a compromise that suits your desire. I had to tighten the spring up lots to stop it releasing boost early because 20 psi, but spool noise has increased which says to me it's doing it's job.
There aren't too many other options as far as bolt on Bov's go.

Yup Flutter sounds wicked.
I have no flutter. Is it a result of running no BOV?
From all the comments I've read, I gather full atmo is considered **** factor 10+ and therefore the opposite must be considered the soft vagina option. Lol.
I have it on full vagina mode, and have tighten the spring, I still get a nice little whistle every now and then.
Cool. I have never set mine to vag mode. I'm on about 50/50.
Ash how far wound in is the head of the allen bolt on yours? Mine is about 4mm. It feels like a lot to me and I'm wondering if it's set up right.
