Guys, in this modern day are job agencies useful? I just don't see what they can do considering the amount of companies/businesses that advertise directly to the public.

Cream interior isn't that bad. Had it in my Liberty and mum has it in her RX350. Feels quite luxurious inside. Just gotta get some decent leather cleaner and you'll be fine!

Well, considering I last used one 7-8 years ago, my input could be invalid....however I know that they can be liars, I filled in my forms asking for fulltime work, was talked up multiple jobs

as fulltime employment, only to get there, work one day and told "thanks for filling in". As you can imagine, I was fairly pissed with the agencies.

Yeah they are. A friend of mine worked for one for a while. They normally get the jobs first before they are posted online. And it's another set of eyes out there looking for ya.

yes and no harry. i actually got my current job through a recruitment agency - i applied for the job through them, company didnt advertise direct so to speak.

they do go a far way to be able to find their candidates job. we prob get a minimum of 1-2 recruitment agencies ring up or come into us a week asking if we need people and offering services. some of them are paid by the government if they help candidates find work. 

In my opinion it cant really hurt to try one, they probably do have leads into companies who can offer work. worst case scenario is you end up where you are now, best case is you get a job
