Gday Guys,

The search is finally over. I have finally got a GT Lib. Very Happy! I was about to give up and and low and behold there she was. Basically a Stock Spec b but factory delivered with Sti rims and Brembo brakes 83000KMs 6 speed manual and Sat nav. 1 previous owner who bought as a demonstrator/personal dealer car.

Now the fun begins with small mods and little things to personalise it.

On a side note my Gen 2 RX wagon will go to my old man and I will be selling his 98 gen 2 Gx wagon with only 85000kms on it.

Also the B4 BBS wheels on my RX will be up for sale.

That is bloody AWESOME! Very well done man! Cheering on the STi rims and Brembo brakes. You've definitely got a perfect example of a Gen IV. Can't wait to see what you make of it man.

Congratulations. :D

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

So it's not a Tuned by STi? Just has the add-ons? There'll be a badge on the back and also a number plaque on the engine cover.

Either way, that looks absolutely fantastic!

Congratulations!

My B4 rims will be up for sale... A set of 5

One of my first mods is to replace all the lights with nice bright LED's I've been checking ebay as usual. Anyone recommend any from experience? First the front w5w(T10) parking lights. Also the rear brake lights w21/5w

I have the same car as you, just a 2006 model. B4 rims on a Gen IV won't look too good. :P

Congrats on the purchase mate! I believe a welcome to the forum is in order too; Welcome! =)

How much did she set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

Did you have other Subaru models in mind before making the purchase or were you pretty confident on a GT wagon?

Did you consider the 2.0L GT wagon, or did you go straight for a GTB?

I've been checking on carsales.com.au (as we do) and have noticed that you can get a 3.0RB wagon for the same cost as a 2.0 GT wags. Which would you prefer of the two?

Function, looks and power. Win, win, win =)

Good stuff, looks like a great find, enjoy it.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Hi mate,

I can say i paid a little more than i wanted but it was a better GT than i was looking for. Lower kays than average and the wheels and brakes where a bonus. I still think I got it for a really good price. Looks like they are holding there value more then any other Gen 4(MY07 onwards) i.e GT,Man,Wag with sat nav as well. I was looking for around 3 months.

The chances of finding a manual 6 speed GT wagon where getting few and far between. Do a search and you will see. :scratch_one-s_head:

I wanted a facelift gen4 and was considering a 3.0rb but my heart was with the GT. The next wagon I was looking at was a 3L Outback. I honestly haven't driven a 3.0rb, so can't comment on which one is the pick. On paper the GT has the edge but in the real world? Either way I don't think you can go wrong.

Cheers Max
