A 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League this morning. Not a bad result considering it has always been difficult to beat them at home. Good result. Loving the fact that Real Madrid pumped FC Copenhagen, and Manchester City was embarrassed by Bayern Munich, 1-3, AT HOME! Ha ha.
The A-League starts in 8 days! Nice! Can't wait!

I'll be honest and say I haven't really followed A league that closely, but I'm keen to see as much as I can this season. I'm amazed at the number of big name players playing out their careers in Australia and the A league.
Del Piero, Heskey.... These were big name players playing in Europe when I was living in England and really started getting into the game.

You can say that again. From the first season to now there has been a huge increase in supporters. Just have a look at last year when the Western Sydney Wanderers were introduced to the A-League, it was like a riot of red and black jerseys everywhere! Ha ha.
