Kind of warm here. Feeling a bit rubbish today. Got a bit of a cough happening.

I'm thinking of cashing in my giant money box. But can't decide if I want a Pressure washer (good one) or a pro scape self propelled mulching mower.

May even have enough for both

By the looks of your yard, a self propelled mower probably would be the most helpful.

Go to the shop and buy one firstly.

Get one with a metal pump (it will say)

Depends what you want to spend, really.

Karcher/Gerni

Metal pump is a must for longevity.

just buy the $89 karchers, they last about 8/9 months with fairly constant use.

I like karcher. Budgeting around $400. Was basically thinking I'll just go and get the best I can afford? Surely at $400 it won't e an overkill?

Haha just saw your addition. I could also do this!

I reckon home use you would probably get a fair bit longer than 8/9 months too! I think they have a 2 year warranty for home use.

$400 I would consider overkill. But that's just me. I would not be breaking off more than $200.

Just to put alternatives out there, if you were after something with a metal pump in your price range, check this.

ZERO CHANCE

Our Gerni was awesome, but when it did fail, finding parts was impossible (probably a geographical thing) which is why we just started buying the cheap Karcher ones.

But Gerni was superior power.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Weird.

@Adam: With the Gerni, you have the added bonus of telling Rach to grab your tornado nozzle

It's forking stupid. But i prefer karcher solely on the colour and body design. Massively gay, I know!

Looks like I'm over budgeting, it is really something that won't get used all that often.
-degreasing engine bays
-degreasing mini parts
-cleaning driveway and concrete/ brick surfaces
-quick cleaning of cars.

Literally all I can think of!
