True indeed. We were bashing out Harvest today, and all sorts of other Ash approved shit!

@Ash: It's always sort of annoyed me watching that clip, because what I thought the song was about was so wrong.,

 

See, I never really thought about it until I saw that clip, so to me, it was good to find out the meaning behind it.

I'm going to rant.

 

A while back one of our dogs passed away. We got wind of a dog the same breed recently being picked up by the RSPCA - which is very rare, and they get snapped up fast (cavalier king charles). Long story short, after she went through their process we were asked if we wanted to adopt as we had our name down. Go to get her, she looks healthy/happy enough, bring her home - seems to be settling in.

 

Few hours go by, she can't settle and keeps scratching her ears. Starts crying. WTF? Turns out she has a massive ear infection, but its not that visible from the outside. The RSPCA clearly stated that her ears were in good health - but the emergency hospital vet was very annoyed and reckons it was hard to miss. She is currently at my feet asleep, on drugs. They told us they were going to be submitting a complaint on our behalf, but I dare say mum will be having words tomorrow.

 

I respect what the RSPCA do, but this is pure negligence on their vets part. This dog was not ready for adoption. We can take her back within 14 days if she doesn't work out - but she is a friendly dog and we'd like to keep her. I feel bad for mum too, as she was only trying to do the right thing by our other dog, who gets lonely, and she enjoys their company/fluffing around with them on weekends.

 

End rant.
