Nice work Jay.

I can't get mine to log. :(  I suspect its my lack of compuder skills and the fact I have had little time to play around.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

A couple of weeks ago, my local United (Eltham) started stocking E85.

Last night, i made my car RUN on E85  :yahoo:

Fantastic project here mate,

I'm going to be watching this with curiosity.

And does all of this cost you money each time you ask for a revised tune? I understand that Matt doesn't charge for retunes, however I doubt every place has the same attitude. I cannot afford to get it tuned each time. I've been looking to get my wagon tuned at Pulse Racing in Menai as I've heard good things about them, the same goes for Matt however I just don't have a Tactrix.

Isn't Matt from Newcastle? I'd prefer him tune my car as he drives it over a ready-made one to upload.

I don't mean to hassle you (ok, maybe I do :P), but please just get your car tuned by Matt ASAP. You can just retune it later (FREE) whenever you change exhausts. I promise you almost every single time I drive my car, I appreciate the tune he did my Outback. Drive-ability is much better. Forget Pulse. They're good for many cars, but for an H6, you'd be foolish not to use Matt. He use to OWN an H6, so he knows his way around them. And Matt's price is VERY reasonable especially considering its tried and proven with hundreds and hundreds of club members.

I've already sent Jay a message about it as I didn't want to derail his build topic too much more. But I am looking into it. ;)

I'm updating my build topic soon so I'll ask the questions there.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Must be.

I'm assuming you will have the same problem Simon, just at a slightly lesser level. :)

Strange! Did you download the definitions for Romraider Logger?

(ROMRAIDER METRIC units LOGGER definitions 0.3.5b 10-02-09.zip

If you want a hand with it, let me know.

You also need the drivers for the Tactrix which are included in the ECUFLASH install. Without these LV or Logger won’t work. Done that?

Ahh so the drivers are fine. Maybe make sure you’ve set an output location for the files?

Calling my bluff?

The video was accidentally cut short at 90kph, you’ll have to guess the last 10kph.
Thats what you get for filming with your right hand and shifting with your left!

Good stuff!

Theres a couple of non-believers on club.liberty. They claim it was a rolling start with matts rev limit B (5000rpm launch control in N).
The car clearly doesn’t bounce on a rev limiter (aka. i didn’t use launch control), i used a handbrake to slip the clutch a small bit without the car moving- and the strain on the engine when i slip the clutch is clearly audible and not long after the speedo climbs.

The car drives awesome none the less. For people to make false claims i say switch to Ethanol and see for yourself.

Who really cares about 0-100 times or proving points?

As long as it drives well and you are happy.

There's always going to be people on the internet that think they know more than actual fact.

Jealousy :P
