Paint the insides of the headlights black looks soo much better imo or get some sti ones if you have the coin

Whos doing the final tune? 

 

Yeah cosmetics are last on the list at the moment. I was talking to the guys at MSR but they seem to have no availability and I cant get to them during the week. Just shopping around at the moment as im still doing the run in. Any recommendations? Id rather not have to go for an aftermarket ecu setup, more just someone who can do a factory ecu tune.

MSR is pretty well known but like you said is booked well in advance. I have heard and been in a few cars tuned by him and all drive great.

JEM at ingleburn do good tuning Scott from ichiban tunes a lot of cars that they work on there might be worth checking out.

 

Ben and Scotts cars are both tuned there too pretty well known workshop for all jap makes.

There the 2 that i know off personally and probably my choice when i get my car tuned eventually.

They both tune the standard ecu so no hassles there.

im sure there are others who could offer there opinion on workshops.

Get Chris (XSflow) to tune it on their dyno maybe (if you want local). also you could try Mark/Justin at Hills Motorsports (Hornsby). Justin used to work for Haltech and knows his shizz

All depends if they do tuning with the factory ecu cause im not going aftermarket. Cant find a good price and need it done sooner rather then later. Ill look em up and give them a call tomorrow

haha really with newer cars, who needs to go after market anymore? all of those guys tune factory ecu's.

Hey all been a while so another update.

 

The car has now been tuned by Chris down at XSflow and I am more then happy with his work. Car is running like a dream and pushing 18 psi. Just took it for a drive to Canberra and back and it didn't skip a beat.

Will have to bring it to the next meet and show everyone the finished product

I got it done with the boys down at walkers auto electrics in brookvale. Can't tell you the price its a secret lol.

I only say that because I don't know the exact retail price. They are a family friend. But they are an excellent company and I recommend them to anyone who needs AC work or to fix all electrical issues.
