from everything you read imo, if you can afford a 6 speed over a stronger 5 speed then do it

+1, if you can afford the 6 speed, go for it. For strength and reliability they can't be beaten.

So I picked up the gearbox and the diff with the r180 rear end. Now just have to get the flywheel and clutch and a couple of bits and pieces for the new motor and it's rebuild time :D my aim is to have it mostly done by June but it all depends on parts and extra cash. I'll take pictures as I do the entire thing so you can all endure it with me hehe. Should be a beast once she's done.

And on a side note all old parts including gearbox, diff, hubs, motor etc will be available if anyone needs anything once I'm done.

So just an update.... the ARP Headbolts should be here tomorrow and I will start putting the new motor together this weekend. Very excited :) really hopeful to get majority of it done by the HVC but I am not going to rush doing it cause I don't want to have to pull it out again. Still waiting on a bit more cash flow to make sure I have enough for extra bits and pieces including the running tune after its all done. :D
