Haha exactly! The windfarms out near goulbourn must be going nuts right now.

What is with soccer fans and rioting? Now they are doing it here... It seems more wide spread than other sports.. Do large portions of the fans lack the mentality to watch sport in a civilised manner?
Should just enihilate the fucks when they play up.

Because it's the most boring sport ever conceived by man.

The only reason it's the most widespread and played sport is because it's the cheapest sport to play.

But seriously, rioting......... What in the actual fork goes on in their head to think that it is OK?
The guys who were rioting in Melbourne are from western Sydney ... So no surprises there at all.

Because people that like soccer are people that like soccer.

There is no corner from where to fight for that being normal behaviour.

Good morning all! Happy New Years Eve Eve Eve. :P

Have you ever seen a girl, that made you think if the world just stopped, right now, and that's all you could ever see again, you'd be honoured?

Yes.

Farming windy as outside. At the airport, I feel like first day of holidays again haha.

I reckon. Things are getting flung around here quick smart!

Because it's the most boring sport ever conceived by man.

Incorrect x2.

But they are Western Sydney Wanderers' supporters so I don't really care. They're known to be a younger support base from the Western Suburbs so you can understand what sort of mob that attracts...

More talking about the sport as a whole Gary, name another sport that has as many riots? Some of the European games get like war zones. Disgusting.
Not saying anything bad about the game on the field, each to their own. But there are problems with the fan base.

Oh you're not wrong there man, but it shouldn't be those that give the sport a bad name. The majority of matches but one I have ever been to in my life has had no form of rioting in it. It's the minority that cause it in Australia anyway, and I'm sure we're all aware of what minority group that may be.

I don't ignore the fact that in other countries it happens quite often either. Look at soccer games in Russia, most Balkan countries and even some in the UK. They're off the charts! Not to mention those in South America. There's a difference between being passionate and an absolute idiot.

I do in a way, and I haven't doubted the fact that they're doing the wrong thing. It's a matter of what the club does in tandem with the authorities. The dickheads that cause all of these shit-fights will have what's coming to them soon enough.

There are riots in a few other sports too. It's not the sport that brings the riots, it's the supporters who start them over religious or political views. From what I've heard about the Victory vs Wanderers game had nothing to do with that and apparently it was just a few supporters shouting chants at each other, but you can't honestly say something else wasn't said possibly on a more religious or personal level?

"Get the fork out of our city, this is Melbourne!"

"We'll smash you guys cause we're the best team!"

It goes on. I haven't read any articles about it so perhaps I'm not speaking with the facts behind me.

Wake boarding is sick man! Doesn't take much to get used to it and you'll soon find yourself being adventurous. Sometimes at the expense of your body, ha ha. Have fun man!

Good points though Gary! Do the clubs actively cancel memberships etc of people and ban them from attending games if they play up?

My fark it was hot getting off the plane. It was almost cold in sydney, 1hour flight later and bang, sun tries to melt my face off.
