TurboSmart offer them Universal BOV, I'm not too familiar with HKS plumb backs, as their SSQV has always been the most popular.Also agreed.

What have you been eating? Are you getting some compressor surge away from the car?
As far as what it sounds like with and auto box. I just lift off fast enough and I get a very high pitched flutter because its a small turbo. Its not that audible from the outside my mate tells me.

The HKS SSQV can be plumbed back quite easily as it comes with an adapter to plumb it back. Just use the oem rubber hose that you pull off the standard BOV and stick the adapter in the HKS BOV then connect it all up. Too easy.

all im reading is negatives..
I got a hybrid.. it was quiet and usless.. so I went full atmo within a week!
no difference to how the car runs,
now I have it tightened up a little so I can get some nice flutter, I <3 flutter

Lance - what turbo are you running?
There are different variations on different turbos.
Best not to risk it, run a proper BOV that vents back into the intake.
Im running a VF23,
Im actually looking for a plumback BOV as im over the flutter.
May just "custom fit" a stock WRX one i have lying around for the time being.
But running no BOV is one less thing to get Defected for
MY02 Liberty B4
