Well i wouldnt be doing it to sell and make a profit. Id be doing it so that i could have a sweet little hatch back that i could chuck around on the track. There's a lot of go fast/handling mods coming out of europe for these cars, so upgrading stuff could be on the cards.

What type of car is the tomato firstly?

Nah focus has too much modern computery type stuff going on. Tomato is simpler. It weighs f all too, so would be better suited to tracking. It'll never set any lap records, but they are bloody good fun to chuck around.

Why the fork would you do anything to the Tomato other than drive it into the ground? No offence mate, but most mechanics belive those things to be a shitebox.

Valve stem seals, IACV's shitting themselves, and shitty tie rod ends were the usual things that went wrong that i noticed when i worked at Vauxhall. None of which are epic bad things imo

I know you'd much rather see me doing skids in a XC falcoon, but that just isn't me Jase.

I drove Swift GTi's, pug 205/6 gti's, Clio 172's and Corsa GSi's when i was car shopping whilst living in England, and i found the Corsa to be just behind the Clio in handling, but way ahead on price. The swift,205 & corsa's were all around the same money, but the Corsa killed the Swift and 205 in handling IMO. The Clio was a beast. 3 wheeling going round round-abouts. But they were quite a bit more expensive and have a tiny pedal box ( even smaller than the Corsa's) which didnt suit my size 11's.

This is the second one ive owned, and even with its flaws, its puts a smile on my face every time i drive it.

I hear you 100% Brett.
Its just that I used to get those things in the workshop with all sorts of issues, plus nothing was ever simple. Timing belt off to replace a themostat and degas a/c to remove radiator wre the sort of things that stick in my mind.
