oh yeah. Theres definitely fork all room in the engine bay. The one i have now has the little air pump thingy which i think is hooked up to the exhaust somehow. I believe to help lower emissions. The one I had in England didnt have this. Im just amazed they managed to fit anything else in the bay.
Even changing the battery is a cock of a job. I swear you need to remove the engine to do it properly. I didnt bother trying to get the clamps back on the new one. i figured its not going anywhere anyway.

I hate the heat, but after today, I think the only thing I hate more is people telling me about it with their phones. Holding up their screens to my face showing me their temperature app - it is the new, "How hot is it?".
Now they know, exactly how hot it is, they think showing the person next to them is important. If I can see you holding up your phone, you maggot, I know PERFECTLY WELL WHAT THE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE.
