Ok, some shitty progress pics.

 

For reference...

Now I have blacked out all the waist and skirts, added some pink underwear for the flipped core (the I/C piping that came n the car was longer that the runway in FF6) and have stripped and cleaned and painted and baked all the turbo and header components for re-assembly :)

When I cbf'd, I'll do a thread...I've put about 60 hours nto the car since I picked it up at 2pm on Tuesday...hopefully tomorrow, It will live :)

60hrs wow. Nice work pete. I can't even drum up 15mins to wash mine atm.

Took 6 hours just to mask the freakin car up. White Sti GDB 17's will be going on. Still got to finalise the IC piping, move all the bosch coil packs (hate these things SO much,,,COP's come at me bro) There is a whole heap of crap I haven't mentioned either (yet) but you get the idea. Really enjoying it though. Rewarding work is rewarding.

The black looks good, really breaks up the body which is needed with so much done in body colour.

Cheers lads.

 

The waist and skirts cost my mate (with the Orange RS wagon) $1200 to get painted at the panel shop...I've used $90 of Satin Black, $30 in Plasti Dip and $30 in wrinkle black...totally worth the time imho.
