Just had a moment on the ride home (took the Triumph today)...

Sitting at front of lights, double lanes to turn right...see a Harley coming up behind me in mirror, creep forward to give him space - turns out it's actually 9 gypsy jokers (bikies).

DILEMMA - Let them go first, thus being polite --- or race them, prove Harleys are shit slow and risk getting shot???

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Haha. I let two of them go first and just stayed level with the third...

I txt my cop mate and told him that story he said they've been known to bash/chase people who challenge them in traffic...so I made a wise decision.

The right thing was to race them and laugh...I chose the option least likely to make me die before getting home.

I'm bored. But happy as tomorrow is my RDO after starting work this week on Monday and I'm off to Thailand this coming Monday. Amazeballs.

I've gotta get a travel card tomorrow. Did some research and have heard good things about the Commonwealth Bank traveller's card. My girlfriend used the 28 Degree card when she was overseas which would've been the best option but I procrastinated and now it'll be too late before the card arrives.

Anyone out there know of better options that can be obtained there and then like the Commonwealth Bank one can?

I just used my commbank credit card and took some cash. Might be different in Thailand compare to NZ though

Might be time for another beer.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

Yeah I don't really want to take anything personal to Thailand other than the obvious.

I've already got travel insurance. I used 1Cover and was charged only $80.80 for the 13 days I am away. The travel card I wanna get is just so it's not my personal bank card in case it gets stolen, they've only got access to however much I put on the card instead of everything I've got.

I got a travel card when I went over to the USA and Canada. Won't be bothering with that again.

Why do you say that man?

I just thought it'd be a wise thing to do especially due to it being a country like Thailand. Not degrading it at all, but it's better to be safe than sorry in a non-English speaking country.

The main reason I got one was because of the exchange rates (well thats what they told me anyway).

There is a possum making rather strange noises out the front.

Ah ok fair enough. We'll see how we go. The good thing about the Commonwealth Bank one is that you don't get charged fees when swapping currencies within that card's account if you get what I mean. Only sucky part (which all the ones I've checked out have had) is that they charge 1% of the transfer you're making up to $15 (which is the part the other cards don't have) I think.
