I'm pretty sure I killed the engine myself. I imagine I have somehow ended up getting a cylinder full with petrol when changing the injectors yet again this arvo and as such, have managed to fluid lock the motor. I'm pretty sure i have my ignorance to blame for this one...If it's bent rod's, it was me

How would you get a cylinder full of petrol when changing the injectors Pete? once you removed the injectors from the rails was there a shitload of petrol pouring on an angle and down into manifold? and I mean a shitload....... I just don't see it as being something that could really happen man.

Not without the fuel pump running with no injector attached and fuel going straight into the manifold then down into the cylinder.

Petol came out of the fuel rail into the cylinder head, yes, maybe about 20ml's? I don't know, seems a coincidence that I just had the feckin thing apart and then it seizes trying to re-start.
