I assume there is much better career progression then your current job where you are expected to stay back until all hours of the night...

Yeah, I expect it to be boring, working in Finance... I did tax for 3 years when I started working before, so I know what the world of Corporate Finance is like... LOL! But I can deal with it... yeah 5% more pay than what I'm on here, so not too bad, and yeah, better career progression, if they stick to their word in the interview... LOL!

 

Yeah working late here does suck, but it might happen in the new company too, as well as working Saturdays if they need me to. Furthermore, I have to work extra time everyday because I'll be a senior going into a lead role... so looking at 9 hours a day, but only paid for 7.5.. LOL!

Yeah same pretty much, always got shit I want to do.. I have a fair bit of sick leave but no annual leave.

I do the same. Sometimes I take a day off if I'm behind in important chores and what not. It just gives you a day to chill the fork out and get things done without having to rush around after work or on the weekends.

Oh shit! I just remembered I got a video from the wedding on Sunday of the rotaries and a few other cars that had a bit of fun on the day. I'm gonna get it posted up on Facebook now... And then I'm gonna try and find the many other videos of the same cars doing the same thing when I wasn't there in person to see it (sadly).

To use it because you need to or do use it just because its there?

Only asking because I have a few mates that take theirs just because it is there, then they sit around the house all week doing nothing. Where as ill take the day every so often because I have something important to do.

I can't take time off and do nothing, it would send me crazy

Last few years I've had to take 2-3 years over chrissy, so that takes a chunk. Plus snow trips and random holidays and shit I need.

I have taken a week off just to chill. But that's just me. I'll fork around at home or whatever

There's the video. The red RX-3 is my cousin's mate, the midnight blue RX-7 is my cousins (with my uncle driving it as my cousin was part of the groomsmen and went in a stretch Hummer), orange Datsun ute (I'm pretty sure) is a guy that helped build my cousin's car (and has about 500 HP), gold RX-7 is a mate that built the majority of my cousin's car and the final car is a family friend (I have no idea who he is).
