Link me.

I have had thoughts of buying a few things but haven't had time to make it to a workwear shop.

Thanks Haz... guess this is just something you don't know about the job until you are actually there and working the hours... nobody is going to tell you "we work you like a dog everyday" at the interview...

100% right!

It just sucks when you get into a job and it doesn't work out.

One thing to remember. Zac. You're never stuck there forever. Just do something about it and deal with it the best you can. They can't fire you for not working a 70hr week, so if you are leaving anyway....

And you aren't crawling back you have just realised the grass isn't always greener.

I guess it is true they can't fire me, but they will make it hard in reviews and stuff, saying I didn't pull me weight or whatever, even when I finished everything I needed to do within work hours... But seriously, I start work earlier, and I finish on time... managment says that isn't enough? When I log out of my computer at the end of the day, it is because I've done everything I can for the day and I can't do anymore without making mistakes or losing concentration, so I need to go. I do something different to what the other testers do, they just test blindly, I write code, which is more mentally draining... so yeah, I can't do 9-10 hours a day...

Anyway, I'm not working weekends, and I'm going to keep leaving work at 5.15pm and if they say anything to me, I'll say I've done my work, I started earlier, and I need a break when the day is done, plus it is not necessary for me to stay back like everyone else, when my work isn't holding back a release or something...

Plus, I have an email from the manager I emailed before about work hours. He said sometimes, some team members will be asked to work back a few hours or weekends to get the project across the line... but it isn't the norm, it is an exception... but this not what I'm seeing happening here now that I'm working here...

You are in control of your life Zac. As 'dam said, the grass may not always be greener on the other side. Do something about it now before you really start hating your work life and before it effects your personal life and relationships as well.

How much can you hook a brother up? ;)

I don't remember ever working somewhere that I didn't have to work weekends

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?
