It could run just from the hot air coming out of your mouth.
Yeah, runs off helium. $750ish then add about $300 for the gimbal.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Haha, yeah, I'm not going to get one. I just thought it was an interesting concept to carry a DSLR on a budget.

There are quads for carrying a dslr, but man, you're looking at like $2500+
I'll stick with my gopro quad for now... it does the job.. with 3 batteries, I can get about 20min of flight time... LOL!
Should be enough footage to compile a 4min video...

God it would be funny to rock up to HVC with a big ass hindenburg styles blimp but.
Many wtfs would be had.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,

So true Shaz... you should do it for funz anyway...
I'll be having my FVP stuff on, so I could even sit in someone's car and fly the quad while they are driving... should get some nice videos from the HVC this year,..

Yeah I've got some new techniques I want to give a crack. I haven't made a video since September last year, so keen to get back into it.

yeah Zac, just practice flying in large open areas when there's no wind blowing and you'll be fine.
Too many times i've tried to fly the big heli in the back yard and it always ends up being a costly exercise.

Yeah man, mine was bring flown in a big park next to my house, so it was cool... but flew over the trees, 40m up, wind was crazy hectic and started taking the quad away... so I throttled down all the way and it fell through the trees.. should be easy to fix though...

Helium is fuckin' expensive, and getting worse. I see it on the BOC list when I get my CO2 and Nitrogen.

Haha nah... tree wasn't that tall... but when I brought it down, it came crashing through the trees... which it was flying over just fine before the wind started carrying it away... lol

I think you'll be surprised how good that cheap quad copter flys.
Drags were called off so me and Grant went and played mini golf then did a 15min gokart sesh, jist about to go meet up with some more mates and do some more gokarting tonight.
