Hi Guys,

After a year working where I've been with a Barina company car, that boss finally offered me a car allowance that I've been hoping for. The restrictions were that it needed to be late model, with aircon, four comfortable seats etc... all the things I'm not normally into!

Anyway, I've always thought Subarus were a less sterile drive than most new cars, I like the styling of the Gen3 Liberties and I agree with the drive layout. When I was a kid and the GEN3 Outbacks came out, I always thought the interior design was pretty plush with the leather and twin sunroofs (not available on the Lib's?) so I looked at a couple for sale and ended up buying one from a dealer on Saturday. 2.5L, 5spd w/ low range, grey leather. Seems completely stock, a few marks in the paint and 230,000km on the clock which is a little more than I'd opted for. We struck a deal with 6 months of rego and a RWC provided I supplied some tyres as the ones on it are shagged.

I don't pick it up for a week or so, but I'm pretty excited to rip in and do a few things. Main thing on the cards is to bring it down a few inches so it sits a bit lower than a standard Liberty, and probably make the exhaust audible. But yeah just mild things

Hello and welcome.

Nice pick up, also, nice list of previous, or still current rides in your sig.

Any pics?

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

I should just convert to single, right?

Welcome to the outback family mate!

You'll find plenty of info around on lowering and delifting it. I've done it as well so yell out if you are stuck with anything.

Sounds promising guys, thanks for the feedback.

Also picked these up at the GSS/Import Monster meet yesterday. BBS LM 090's, 17x7.5s and once I fit the centres into the back of the hoops they will be +33 which should fit neat.

Yeah, I got them for a 'reasonable price' and I needed tyres anyway. But they certainly weren't cheap.

Yeah Gwyn is a top bloke. Met him at a JDMST meet under the Bolte when I first got my Cedric wagon on the road.

Great meeting you yesterday Nick. Thanks for the advice on the wheel offset, and suggesting this forum. After thinking about offsets etc. for a few hours, I went and paid the man, loaded them into my mate's slammed RN20 Hilux and went home before I opened my wallet again hahaha.

Don't know Ty, but happened to be frothing over someone's blue Gen3 sedan when Nick was standing next to it and got talking - he knew the owner.

Re: The Heritage wagon, OH!!! They never came up in my searches because they seem to be auto only. No reason I couldn't have converted one of those, but I'm kinda excited about having a low Outback now haha. I actually don't think I've ever seen one slammed other than in photos on here, and I see like 30 Gen3 Outbacks every day driving to work.
