Got some more parts accumulating

Lightweight flywheel
Clutch kit
O2 sensor

Doing the clutch because I didn't replace it when I did the conversion and I have a massive shudder so it makes sense to do the lot

Paid 200 bucks for the clutch kit, is that a good price?

Thinking of chucking in a shorter shifter, any suggestions as to which one I should get?
Adjustable would be cool

Throw the flywheel in the bin and machine the oem one. They go kablamo.

Get a kartboy short shifter or even just go a V3 sti shifter, I love mine!

It's a steel lightweight one not an alloy, I thought it was mainly the alloy ones.

Yeah kartboy would be ok, just a gc8 one?

Just chucked it on the scale, mesured in at 5.2kg
Feels pretty weighty.
Not really expecting any gains but it was cheap and freshly machined

Car looks good man, very clean!

Re: flywheels, I've been using a fidanza flywheel (4.3kg I think) and haven't had a problem. Touch wood! They're a great upgrade IMO.

I'm assuming a 2.5 clutch is the same as a 2.2. I was thinking I might get a HD one so I can use it when I go turbot

5 speed = use normal clutch, HD is no good for subaru 5 speeds in the respect that they are weak as glass

6 speed won't matter what clutch

Have a exedy hd in mine. Can't say I've had any issues. Was put in the car before I bought it. And it's had a hard life. From towing to launches in dry and om wet conditions.

My HD exedy is the worst clutch I've felt in my 40+ years.
